A Legendary Road Trip: Perpignan to Biarritz Through the Pyrenees in a Convoy of Porsches

Embarking on a road trip from Perpignan to Biarritz through the Pyrenees is a journey of unparalleled beauty and adventure. This trip, taken in a classic red Porsche Targa, is even more special as the car is set to break the 300,000-kilometer mark. The red Porsche is joined by 993's, one Porsche 964 and another red G-Model Targa. Along the way, we made memorable stops in Ripoll, San Lorenzo de Morunys, Barèges, and Arette, each offering its unique charm and allure.

 

Starting Point: Perpignan

The journey begins in Perpignan, a vibrant city in southern France, known for its rich Catalan culture and Mediterranean ambiance. The red Porsche Targa, an icon of automotive excellence, is ready for the adventure. With the engine humming smoothly, you set off, eager to explore the scenic roads ahead

 

First Stop: Ripoll

Crossing into Spain, your first stop is Ripoll, a picturesque town nestled in the Catalonian Pyrenees. Known for its historical significance and beautiful architecture, Ripoll is home to the famous Monastery of Santa Maria, a stunning example of Romanesque art. As you park the Targa and stroll through the cobblestone streets, the town's ancient charm captivates you. Second Stop: San Lorenzo de Morunys
